On Thursday, November 12, Typhoon Ulysses triggered floods and affected several areas in Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon. Places like Marikina and Rizal were heavily hit, with many residents fleeing to their rooftops or braving the water just to get to safety. Evacuation efforts started as early as Wednesday night, but too many of our kababayans suffered—some, still waiting to be rescued.
