Nothing makes a victory sweeter than the support of those closest to you—family, friends, and perhaps even a significant other. And as Alex Eala continues to receive global recognition for her incredible performance at the Miami Open, speculation about her personal life has also gained traction.

Social media buzzed after photos of her and Hong Kong tennis player Coleman Wong surfaced, sparking rumors of a potential romance.

Coleman, like Alex, is enjoying a career-defining moment, having secured his biggest win at the Miami Open.

Alex and Coleman share a similar background in their tennis journey. They both came from the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca, Spain, and both are making waves in their respective competitions at just 19 and 20 years old, respectively.

Alex's Miami Open game has been nothing short of impressive, with victories over top Women's Tennis Association (WTA) players, including Madison Keys, whom she defeated at 6-4, 6-2.

Meanwhile, Coleman pulled off a 7-6 (3), 2-6, 7-6 (5) second-round upset over No. 13 seed Ben Shelton—his biggest career win to date.

However, Alex was quick to shut down the dating rumors during a press conference. When asked directly about her relationship with Coleman, she firmly denied the speculation.

"No, he is not [my boyfriend]," she responded. "You know, I'm super happy for him, and to see someone that I've known so long do so well is definitely an inspiration. Not just to me, but I feel in general a lot of people can take inspiration from him," she added.
