Let's be real here. People tend to put some kind of timeline on women when it comes to certain aspects of our lives, most specifically, when it comes to marriage. For Arci Muñoz, she's done fussing over the fact that she's still single at 36. But, she's definitely not closing her doors to romance and that's something she openly talked about in public.
In a report published by PEP.ph on March 12, Arci emphasized that she's not at all pressured to get married at this age. She's content and comfortable with how her life has been moving forward at the moment. "Wala, nag-stop na ako mag-worry sa ganyan, sa totoo lang. Never ko inisip na napi-pressure ako. But, all my siblings are married. They all have their families. They all have their kids," she expressed.
Although she's not rushing into marriage at the moment and even enjoys being the single tita to her pamangkins, she still plans for the future—like having kids of her own. "As of the moment, I am the best ninang. Okay na muna ako dun kasi para akong may anak sa mga pamangkin ko. Pero siyempe, gusto ko rin eventually magkaroon ng kids. Pina-plan ko magpa-freeze [eggs]. Kasi kung wala pa ngayon, ano, ipilit ko?"
She furthered, "In the future, of course, I wanna be a mom. Pero ngayon, si Lord na lang talaga. Ayoko na mag-plano, ayoko na ma-pressure."

For the record though, Arci made it clear that she doesn't want to bear a child without a partner at all. If anything, that would be a sad situation for her. "Gusto ko naman ng partner sa buhay. Malungkot 'yun," she said.
Arci Muñoz On Love And Setting High Standards
Like most of us, Arci has set a high standard for her future partner. The actress underscored how she wants someone as caring and as dedicated as her late dad. "Kung paano yung dad ko sa mom ko, paano yung relationship ng parents ko. Mahirap mahakanap ng kagaya ng papa. He's the best, everything, taking care of the whole family, raising us kids," Arci shared.
Perhaps that's also why she's patient enough for the right person to come. After all, Arci knows her worth, even without a man in her life. "Hindi ko nire-rely 'yung happiness ko sa partner ko. Kaya nga mahilig ako sa anime, sa pagta-travel. Madalas ako mag-travel mag-isa. Kaya ko mag-isa."
But in a playful response, Arci also divulged her thoughts about dating a foreigner. "AFAM? Bakit hindi? Hahaha!" she declared. In the meantime, in between her projects, she's been spending time with her mom. "Feeling ko ito purpose ni God—spend time with my mom who's also my best friend," Arci wholeheartedly stated.
Arci is starring in the upcoming film, Sinagtala, which also stars Glaiza De Castro, Rhian Ramos, Rayver Cruz, and Matt Lozano.
