No doubt about it: Charlie Dizon and Carlo Aquino are serious about each other. And even though the actress initially had doubts, she risked it in the name of love.
"For me si Carlo 'yung biggest surprise talaga. Kasi 'nung una iwas na iwas ako. So before parang hindi ko talaga ine-expect 'yung timing niya," the actress shared in an interview on Magandang Buhay.
Before dating Charlie, Carlo was in a relationship with Trina Candaza. They have a daughter, Enola Mithi.
Carlo said Charlie changed him for the better, and that it was the actress who brought out the 'outspoken Carlo.' "Effect lang niya yon sa akin. Parang wala akong dapat itago sa pagmamahal ko sa kanya. 'Yun lang 'yung effect eh. Natural lang siyang lumabas," he said.
Carlo said Charlie also has a cute habit of making him feel her love, through "love deposit."
"Kapag kulang 'yung lambing ko for the day...Parang kapag kailangan ko ng love deposit [kasi] pagod ako... Ganon siya, hindi siya nagkukulang sa pagmamahal," a lovestruck Carlo said.

Charlie then described her boyfriend as someone who's caring and someone who knows her needs. "Alam na niya kaagad 'yung mga needs ko," the actress stated.
In a media interview earlier this year, Charlie said while she and Carlo are opposites in traits, they are highly compatible.
Just recently, Carlo candidly admitted that building a family with Charlie is on the horizon.
“Pinag-uusapan namin yung future together, na magkasama kami, magkaka-pamilya,” he says. “Kasi bakit pa kami umabot sa ganito, diba? Kahit sino naman yun ang goal kaya ka nakikipag-relasyon, para may makasama ka.”
It was only in 2023 when Carlo and Charlie went official with their relationship.

Charlie and Carlo met on the set of the TV series, A Soldier's Heart in 2019. But their romance blossomed after getting to know each other during Star Magic's U.S. tour in 2022.
The couple's top-billed Black Sheep Productions film Third World Romance, directed by Dwein Ruedas Baltazar is available in cinemas this August 16.
