Well-loved power couple, Chiz Escudero and Heart Evangelista, recently gave us all the feels with their swoon-worthy moment at the GMA Gala 2023. Heart rocked a jaw-dropping customized schiaparelli gown, and Chiz's reaction? Well, let's just say it's too sexy for IG!
When Heart slayed the red carpet, the internet couldn't handle the heat. Her Insta was flooded with compliments, but guess whose comment caught our attention? It was Chiz Escudero’s (aka smooth operator) sassy yet sweet remark.
"You look absolutely gorg babe… 'wearing this (the Bulgari necklace, that is)… and only this," to which Heart responded, “hayop ka ???? Hindi toh Viber !!!! Ig toh !!????”
We dare say, it’s giving the iconic Titanic scene, where Kate Winslet’s character Rose asked Jack (Leonardo Dicaprio) to sketch her wearing the blue diamond necklace “Heart of the Ocean.”
In a separate post, Heart also expressed her appreciation for Chiz’s evolution as a husband.
“Thank you for being Chiz 3.0,” Heart said. We see it as Chiz trying to understand the world Heart lives in, just like how Heart adjusted to having a life in politics, even joining her hubby in his past campaign rallies. Now we see Chiz in international fashion week, and joining Heart in local entertainment events.

Back in 2022, Heart admitted to having a rough patch in her marriage with Chiz, and finding time alone to resolve the issues.
“I felt that, as individuals, even if you are married or even if you’re committed to someone or a friend or whatever, you really have to go through certain things and deal with them alone and really ponder about what you want in life.”
Heart also revealed that Chiz is the kind of partner who respects the different seasons of her life.
“The nice thing about being in a marriage with Chiz is that he has always respected the many seasons of my life that I'm going through. Again, like what I said with my parents, people can’t expect me to fast forward the chapters of my life just so I can understand where they’re at,” she said.
