A Filipino couple obsessed with Crazy Rich Asians lived out their fantasy with a lavish wedding inspired by the film in Singapore last week.
Multiple news outlets reported that the bride JM Tiongco and the groom Abbie Caram had wanted their wedding to look like the one of fictional characters Araminta Lee and Colin Khoo in the film version of the bestselling novel by Kevin Kwan.
According to the bride's sister, Mary Golez, Crazy Rich Asians is her family's "comfort movie."

The couple ended up having their reception at the Supertree Grove of Gardens By the Bay, a popular tourist attraction in the Lion City.
Golez posted short video clips of the reception on TikTok which has since gone on to become viral.
The bride reportedly wore a dress by Vera Wang, while the groom wore a custom suit by Filipino designer AJ Javier.
According to an interview with a news outlet, the couple paid "eight figures" in Philippine pesos for the whole wedding.
About 150 guests flew from all over the world to attend the wedding.
