Thanks to their incredibly successful series He's Into Her, Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano quickly became household names. Their well-deserved popularity was initially due to their onscreen chemistry, but as fans of the love team have gotten to know them better, it's clear that the tandem are genuinely close IRL.
So when we got the opportunity to shoot with them as they promoted their latest film, An Inconvenient Love, we knew we had to make sure our Cosmo Challenge really put them to the test. Enter: Weirdly-flavored jelly beans! By having the duo play a revealing game of "Never Have I Ever," we were hoping to learn more about the actors based on the tricky scenarios we chose.
It was extremely fun to watch Donny and Belle tease each other both on-and-off camera (as a K-pop fan, one of my favorite moments was when Donny asked Belle, "Alam ba ni [BTS] Jungkook na in-love ka sa kanya? Belle of course quickly fired back with, "Hindi naman ako in-love sa kanya eh"). The Cosmo editors had a serious case of giggles during the entire shoot due to kilig—in fact one of our giggle fits made it to the video, LOL. *oopsies*
