Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero’s nine-year marriage inspired them to host an intimate and gorgeous wedding renewal ceremony at none other than Balesin Island, the exact place where they got married in 2015. The fashion maven was a total stunner in a beautifully embellished cape gown by Elie Saab, which has a hooded design that heightened her regal air!

Ofc, aside from the gorgeous backdrop and stylish outfits, one highlight of the event is the vows stated by the couple. We have yet to find a *full* video clip of what they said—but got a sneak peek through a video posted by photographer Nelwin Uy on his Instagram Stories.
In the clip, Heart was recorded saying, "A heart that came with an upgrade to boot—stronger, bigger, wiser, and with freshly painted rooms. Getting married again the second time around, we're even now."
We also got a different take thanks to Dr. Aivee Teo's Instagram Reel. Heart was recorded saying "I sold my soul, and you bought it back for me. You have softened all the edges, you've rearranged the stars and you have pulled them down to where I am. You have proven every word of my favorite love song can become a reality. And just like I said before, I will love you and I will always love you with all my heart."
On Chiz's part, he said, "I promise to protect you from everything that is bad in this world. Even from yourself, from myself sometimes. I promise to stand beside you and by your side even from the sidelines, watching and clapping as you grow, excel, and be who you are meant to be. And I promise to love you as I grow much much much old...er. I love you, and I always will."

In an interview, Heart opened up more about the milestone. "It’s a very, very small gathering. But it makes it very special for me," she shared of the vow renewal. "Because I thought I knew what love was, but now, I know what love should be. I feel like I’m getting married for the first time again. So it’s very very special, especially for a lot of untold stories."
