Just as we thought 2023 wouldn't get any more heartbreaking, there's a new rumor that's making netizens sad. On December 29, 2023, Friday, talent manager Ogie Diaz published a YouTube video wherein he shared how a "guwapong aktor" and his "magandang misis" had already gone their separate ways.
"Naa-ano ako kasi nung narinig ko ito, parang nalungkot ako," Ogie said in the video. "Akala ko kasi itong guwapong aktor na ito na kinasal sa isang napakagandang babae ay 'kala ko all along maayos ang kanilang relasyon."
According to Ogie's source, the two remain good friends while their marriage has been undergoing annulment for the past two to three years.
"All along, we thought na okay pa rin sila, na silang dalawa ay ine-enjoy muna ang isa't-isa habang hindi pa nagbubunga ang kanilang pagmamahalan kasi wala pa silang anak, 'di ba."
Apart from the couple not having any children yet, another clue that Ogie and his co-host, Loi Villarama, also dropped, was how the couple started their relationship nine years ago. If you do the math, that's 2014. The couple will reportedly be dividing their conjugal properties and will also be selling their love nest.
Loi also pointed out how the couple has been very supportive of one another, regardless if they were still together or not.
"Yung personal development nila, yung mga individual dreams nila, ina-achieve nila, 'di ba? At sinusuportahan nila yung bawat isa. Kung nasa'n yung isa, nandun din yung isa," Loi said.
Ogie also shared how it was not the first time that the couple had been rumored to have broken up. In fact, the actor had brushed off separation rumors before.
Fans couldn't help but sound off in the comments about who they suppose the couple in the blind item was: Jericho Rosales and Kim Jones.
"'Echo' at Kim Jones ang blind item," wrote one netizen. "Actually, una pa lang na nagde-detalye si Mama Ogs e silang dalawa agad pumasok sa isip ko, Echo at Kim."
Another reacted, "OMG is it Echo and Kim?"
"I think Jericho Rosales and Kim Jones yung guwapong aktor na hiwalay na sa magandang misis, kasi 2014 sila kinasal and sabi ni Ogie nine years na sila."
Jericho and Kim tied the knot in Boracay in 2014. In 2022, they moved to New York as Jericho pursued his Hollywood dream.
