Julia Barretto may be cool with her ex-boyfriends, but that doesn't mean she thinks she's okay with staying friends with them.
While guesting on Magandang Buhay, Julia responded to the question of whether she can be friends with her exes, to which she answered in the negative.
"Kaya niyo ba? (laughs) Kasi kung kaya niyo, there's something weird with me siguro," she responded.
"I think it's just… I don’t know. To be honest, ex mo na kasi, e. Pero you can be civil and respectful at maayos ang pakikitungo niyo sa isa't-isa. Puwede kayong magkamustahan. Pero I feel like when that part of your life is over, it means that whole relationship including the friendship."
Julia also added that she feels it's only right to be civil with her exes as a courtesy to her current boyfriend.
"Especially if you’re happy at the moment, 'di ba? It's really as respect to your current partner as well because hindi naman yata proper."
"Okay lang naman yung maayos ang pakikitungo, pero to be close friends, parang baka magkabalikan naman kayo nu'n, parang date na naman. 'Tara, mag-movie tayo.'"
Julia Barretto broke up with Joshua Garcia in 2019 and is currently in a relationship with Gerald Anderson.
