Not all relationships are meant to be flaunted on a daily basis—some are meant to be low-key, and some are just wired to be the rare private romances in this life. That's why Kylie Verzosa had no problem learning the art of private relationships, all while keeping it smooth sailing.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News on November 14, 2024, the Miss International 2016 titleholder declared that she appreciates her relationship more these days now that it's away from the eyes of the public. It's been a while since Kylie admitted that she was already in a new relationship. "He is a very private person. We both decided to keep it like this," she said in the interview. True enough, the only thing that we know about her current beau is that 1) he's a non-showbiz foreigner, 2) he's someone from the "tech industry," and 3) he's obviously taller than the beauty queen (as seen on Kylie's soft launch IG pics, LOL!).
Having a private relationship at the moment is something that Kylie seems to be grateful for. According to her, she enjoys the peace, the freedom of not having to be pressured by the public, and just being normally carefree as a couple. "Honestly, it is so much better and so much peaceful. Walang pressure. I don't feel the need for the public to see the relationship. Mas na-appreciate ko ganito lagay," Kylie noted.
Aside from the contentment and the happiness that Kylie's been feeling because of her relationship, the actress-slash-entrepreneur expressed how she feels so empowered because of her partner. ICYDK, Kylie launched her own shapewear brand called SOLA, and one of her driving forces for working hard is her S.O. "He has been so supportive of everything I do. Since SOLA is an e-commerce business, he has been helping. I am so happy. I am growing as a person. I am learning so much from him. I am really happy," Kylie stated.

Kylie Verzosa's past romance
Since Kylie first entered showbiz, she's only been in one official relationship, which was highly publicized. Kylie previously dated actor Jake Cuenca from 2018 to 2022. When the two called it quits, of course, there were a lot of questions lingering around about the cause of their breakup.
Although there was no clear reason revealed for their split, Kylie once shared the one thing that she learned from her romance with Jake—and that is to "always put herself first and always leave a bit for herself." Kylie and Jake confirmed their breakup in April 2022.
About two years later, in November 2023, Kylie first announced that she is back in the dating scene and she's doing things differently this time around. "I'm dating someone. Non-showbiz. I'm so happy...Honestly, I wanna keep it private this time. It's a private relationship. It's really, really peaceful," Kylie said in an interview with Gretchen Fullido.
Kylie preferred not to give too many details about her love life, but she did reveal that she is currently dating a foreigner. When asked if the public would see it on her social media, she responded with, "Siguro when I would wanna show it, I will. But for now, I'm so happy."
