We've said it a million times. The right person would make your every fear and every doubt in relationships disappear. It seems idealistic, but award-winning actress Maja Salvador supports this belief—as she experienced it firsthand.

In an exclusive interview with Preview.ph, Maja revealed her initial thoughts about getting married. Maja had her fair share of experiences with failed relationships. For one, her parents separated when she was still very young. She witnessed how her mother raised and supported their family as a single parent—and for the record, she supports and respects single parents. But this fact in her life made her reflect on the kind of family she dreams of having someday.
"May takot talaga," Maja told Preview.ph. This is her initial reaction to marriage. Maja bares the truth about all her fears and doubts about building a family with someone. That's why Maja has been praying for a strong and beautiful marriage.

Nonetheless, her fears did not stop her from dreaming of becoming a committed wife to her husband and an affectionate mother to her future kids. So casting away all her fears, she took that life-changing step forward her dream by saying "yes" to Rambo's proposal.
“Magbabago talaga ’yun, pag nahanap mo ’yung tamang guy.

Maja and Rambo first became a couple in their twenties in 2010. Their young romance was cut short due to their individual responsibilities to their families. They got back together after nine years in 2019.
Maja is also set to start a family, and she plans to prioritize her future children.
The actress notes that this does not mean that she will be putting an end to her acting career. Maja expressed her desire for balance and focus on things that would matter most to her as a wife, a mother, and an actress. She is considering working on some movies in the future after her honeymoon in Europe.
Best wishes to Maja and Rambo!
