Almost four years after their wedding, it looks like Matteo Guidicelli and Sarah Geronimo are gearing up for the next step of their marriage.
The 33-year-old actor revealed his intent to be a father as his Christmas wish this year, opening up more about their plans during a recently concluded media conference for his upcoming 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, Penduko.
“I guess for 2024 and in the future sana mag-baby na kami. In God’s time,” Matteo said, saying they’ve been planning for the baby for quite some time now.
He continued, “At the end of the day, my priority is my wife and family so I think that’s part of the plan. But again, you can’t plan too hard because it’s God who uses this blessing. So, we just hope for the best and do what we have to do.”
The actor previously opened up about parenthood earlier this year, saying he has long been ready to have kids. He said, “Handang handa na, dati pa.”
“God willing, after all activities that Sarah wants to do [and] want to accomplish and, of course, my commitments with [GMA Network], hopefully, by the end of the year, sana pag-pray natin lahat na makabuo,” he added.
The couple has been together since 2014, and tied the knot in an intimate yet much-talked-about ceremony in 2020.
Their latest project together is their very own studio called G Studios—a space where celebrities, artists, content creators, agencies, and their clients can "express their creativity and vision and foster collaboration." It caters to all advertising, media, and event needs with its video-photo production studio and kitchen studio.
