It's been a week since Miley Cyrus released her new single "Flowers," which is believed to be about her on-and-off relationship with her The Last Song co-star Liam Hemsworth. In case you haven't listened to the song yet (you totally should!), it's basically an upbeat anthem about ~singlehood~, with Miley realizing that she deserves *better* from her partner.
It seems like millions of people can relate to the song, though—considering that it reached more than 60 million YouTube views in just a week—and Filipina model Maureen Wroblewitz might just be one of them.
ICYMI, she recently posted a TikTok video of her lip-syncing to the song, which was captioned: "When you finally learn how you prioritize yourself."
TikTok/mwrobThe model added, "I’ve never really spoken about my past relationship but this song really speaks to me. That’s the thing about being in a public relationship, no one really knows what happens behind closed doors," she shares.
"I have lost myself over the past few years and I’m finally realizing who I really am. I am working on myself and healing from past trauma because I don’t want to make the same mistakes. Maybe one day I’ll be ready to speak about it because I know it could help a lot of people."
While Maureen didn't mention any names, netizens were quick to speculate that the video is about her ex-boyfriend Juan Karlos Labajo, who she was in a relationship with for three years before they confirmed their breakup in June 2022.
TikTok/mwrobHowever, nobody *really* knows the whole story aside from the model herself, so it's best not to make harmful assumptions about her previous relationship. Sending you hugs, Maureen!
