While divorce often carries a social stigma, Max Collins and Pancho Magno are choosing to see it as a positive step forward. For Max and Pancho, their divorce isn't just the end of a chapter; it's a chance to start anew and redefine family life for themselves and their young son, Skye Anakin Collins.
In an interview with GMA News on Saturday, Max opened up about the current status of her relationship with Pancho, sharing that they are now legally divorced. "We're legally separated na. Yes, it's official na," Max revealed.
Max emphasized that their experience is proof that there's a way to move on from marriage peacefully and responsibly: "We wanted to show people that you can be like us. It's possible."
The divorce process of Max and Pancho began in April 2024 in the United States, where Max was born, allowing her to file under U.S. law.
Earlier, Max reflected on her views on marriage, explaining that her decision isn't about rejecting love but redefining it. "Ako, I don't believe in marriage. No, I'm sorry, I don't. I mean, I don't personally. I believe in marriage for everyone else," she told GMA News. "You can still love each other and be together without being married…It's really a commitment. So even if you marry each other, that doesn't mean you'll be together forever," Max added.
Max and Pancho tied the knot in 2017. However, by 2021, the two decided to part ways, mutually agreeing that it was time to move forward separately. Both have expressed gratitude for the shared journey and the co-parenting relationship they continue to uphold, especially in raising Skye.

Max Collins And Pancho Magno Commit To Co-Parenting Amid Divorce
Despite their divorce and the adjustments following their divorce, Max has assured that she and Pancho remain committed to co-parenting their son, Skye, with love and mutual respect. In fact, Max noted that this arrangement is not only feasible but actually beneficial, allowing both of them to focus on their own happiness while keeping Skye's well-being at the center of their priorities. "We're good, we're great. It really works for us. It's been really healthy and we're both happy, as our son's very happy, so it really worked out for the best," she shared.
