Love moves in mysterious ways, and former actress Michelle Madrigal is now ready to open up about her love life—and we're so happy for her!
Michelle, who is now based in Texas, USA as a wellness coach slash fitness trainer and realtor, has previously opened up about letting go and starting a new chapter of her life. As she balances her professional career with being a mother to her daughter, Anika, she recently described keeping a "very private" relationship as the best decision she's ever made. And by "very private" she meant not posting anything about her beau on her social media accounts!

In a now-deleted Instagram story, Michelle wrote: "I've kept my dating life very private since my last relationship, and choosing to stay quiet this time has been the best decision."
Right then and there she also admitted that she would be marrying once again! "Damn if you do, damn if you don't. No matter what you do, people will always have something to say. So, live your life and follow the path that God has given you," she expressed.
Then came the announcement, "But YES I am marrying the man God sent me during my waiting season."
She referred to her fiancé as her "partner in Christ," "business partner," and most importantly, "the best stepdad to Anika." Her descriptions came with wholesome and endearing shots of her with her soon-to-be husband.
Michelle Madrigal's past relationships
Michelle was previously married to Troy Woolfolk—he is Anika's father. Michelle and Troy got married in 2019. Three years after their wedding, their marriage began to fall apart. It was in 2021 when they decided to call it quits.
In May 2022, the couple's divorce was finalized. In an interview with PEP.ph, Michelle admitted that her relationship with Troy reached a "toxic" point, which she thought wouldn't be healthy for both of them and their daughter.
"There were moments na I felt emotionally abused na. I just knew that it wasn't gonna work out anymore. I didn't want my daughter to grow up in a toxic home. A lot of people say, 'You should stay for the kids.' Yes, I see that. Pero both partners should be willing to work on their relationship and as individuals kasi dalawang entity kayo."
She further mentioned that their personalities turned out to be very different and that they could not meet at a certain level of understanding. Hence, she knew that the relationship was not going to work out anymore.
"You're combining two different personalities, two different backgrounds. If one of you is not willing to work on that, it's never gonna work," she told PEP.ph in November 2022.
It was also in 2022 that she introduced her new boyfriend Kyle, whom she met on a dating app.
"We met through Hinge so it's a dating app. Obviously, hindi ako masyadong lumalabas being a single mom and nag-swipe siya at ako rin, and then we started chatting," she narrated in a YouTube vlog uploaded in December 2022.
However, not long after, Michelle and Kyle's love story came to an end. Michelle announced her singlehood through an Instagram post in July 2023 that read, "I’m 34. Divorced. Single. Mom of 1. Healing & Happy."
