If you're female and you've faked an orgasm, this story is for you. A study by condom brand Durex revealed that 61 percent of Filipino women enjoy sex LESS than their partners. And to shock you further, 22 percent of Filipinas don’t orgasm during sex, 64 percent of Filipinas want more satisfaction in bed, and 76 percent of them desire more foreplay. On the flip side, 70 percent to 100 percent of men are able to orgasm during sex. The said margin of difference is called the pleasure gap.

Durex hosted an event/social experiment to bring attention to the pleasure gap. It was a normal dinner with paired-up individuals. The male guests were to experience what it is like to be on the other side of the pleasure gap. The women were treated to a lavish meal, while the men were served a tiny basket of bread, ice-cold soup, and waiters who barely paid any attention to them. Unsatisfying, right?

Host Sam YG shortly revealed that it was all a prank together, then introduced "The Unequal Dinner" video which made the guests realize the inequality that also happens between partners in the bedroom.

So, how do we close the pleasure gap?

Communicate with your partner

Talk to your partner(s) about what turns you on. Be open and honest. Ask them as well what turns them on. During this exercise, you might surprise each other with your kinks and desires. Who knows, both of you might want the same, exact thing!

This is also the time to reinforce your boundaries. If you belong to the 80 percent of Pinays who prefer to use a condom, mention this to your partner. Tell them if you're okay with the frequency of sex, too. Do you need more of it or less of it? Fill them in all the deets 'cos your partner is not psychic. They can't read your mind.

Be open to trying new ~*things*~

As mentioned earlier, having an open mind is essential in reaching a compromise in the bedroom. If your partner(s), would desire to explore watching porn while doing it with you, be game to explore that idea. You may also try different sex positions to figure out which *hits* the spot. Don't knock it until you've tried it.

Take advantage of items that elevate the pleasure

Istg, ultra-thin condoms like Durex Invisible plus Durex Play Feel lube will make a ton of difference in your experience in the bedroom. You'll feel ~*more*~ things and reach climax faster. While you're at it, add sex toys to the mix!
