Miguel, a.k.a. Miggy, shared the moment on Instagram with a proposal video set to "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran—because, well, could there be a more fitting song? The couple hugged each other on a beach, framed by the silhouette of the rocks. No elaborate setups, no over-the-top theatrics—just the two of them, dressed simply in white.
Then came The Moment™. Miggy dropped to one knee, pulled out a ring, and popped the question. And, of course, Rei said "yes" and sealed her promise with a kiss.

ICYDK, Rei and Miggy have been in a relationship for more than a decade! Their journey wasn't anything extraordinary at first, but fate (and social media) had other plans—they met on a dating app!
In a 2019 YouTube vlog, Miggy revealed that he first came across Rei through Instagram's "Explore" section. Taking his shot, he followed her and to his surprise, she followed back. In the same video, Rei admitted that Miggy instantly became her "happy" crush.
Their story finally took a turn when Rei was at church one day. A friend suggested she try Tinder, just for fun. So, after swiping left on countless profiles, she finally landed on the one—Miggy.
"First message mo [Miggy], 'Hey! I know you.' Yun yung sabi mo sakin. Tapos, syempre ako, pa-cool pa ako eh," Rei recalled.
And that's how it all began. From casual messages to long conversations, their connection grew stronger. Soon enough, they exchanged personal numbers and met in person. The rest, as they say, is history.
By 2023, engagement speculations started swirling when Rei posted a TikTok using a filter predicting "Your Relationship Status in 2024." With the caption, "10 years na po next year baka naman hahaha eme lang," fans couldn't help but wonder if a proposal is coming.
