Robi Domingo is getting married soon, and he can't contain his anticipation for the big event.
Speaking to PhilStar, the host spoke about his feelings as he and his fiancée Maiqui Pineda count down to the day.
"I am super excited for the wedding, but I am more excited [about] the things that will happen after the wedding," Robi shared. "People say it’s a once-in-a-lifetime event, but I’m more excited do'n sa lifetime with her."
Robi added that he feels intense pressure for his soon-to-be role of groom and spouse.
"Of course, you have to be the best groom, the best husband-to-be, and the best partner. And coming from a guy who knows events, that’s the one event na dapat sobrang maganda that you could offer as a gift to your wife."
"As cliché as it may sound, you just know," he added. "Totoo pala yung sinasabi ng mga tao na paano malalaman kung siya na talaga: I just knew from that moment when I got the ring. I told myself, ‘This is it."
Robi also spoke about their pre-wedding shoot in Japan, revealing that they had shot it in different locations. The couple recently released the pics from their Kyoto set, which were super *romantic.*
"We both love and I personally love Japanese culture (like how) disciplined and responsible they are,” he noted. "And there’s something in that place that attracts me the most. I did the proposal there, in Shibuya. And it made sense that we had our prenup there.
Because Japan means so much to Robi and Maiqui, they might even have their honeymoon there.
"Maybe?" Robi thought out loud. "It depends on 'my boss.'"
Robi proposed in the country's iconic Shibuya Crossing back in November 2022. In a May 2023 interview with Push, Robi revealed that they're planning on keeping the wedding small. They have yet to announce when the wedding will be.
