PSA: It’s *officially* the end of the road for Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati. Following months of speculations surrounding their alleged marital problems, the actress directly confirmed that they have indeed called it quits.
Sarah Lahbati Confirms Breakup With Richard Gutierrez
In an interview with MJ Felipe, the actress was asked, "So Sarah I hope you don’t mind. Is it a confirmation already na you’re single now?"
To which, Sarah answered, "Yeah, I mean. there’s nothing to hide. And I think it’s pretty clear to the public na both of us.. I think."
Days before the confirmation, Sarah further shared that she’s not on speaking terms with her estranged husband, though they’re on a co-parenting setup."Well, of course, it's not ideal for the children, let's go back to the kids. But that's life and that'll be fine. We're good at parenting and we have, you know, we are there for the kids. That's all I'm gonna say," she said.
In an interview for Cosmopolitan’s January cover, Sarah opened up more about dealing with the public controversy surrounding her then-rumored breakup."I'm holding up pretty well. I'm happy. Again, I'm grateful. There's nothing more to say than I'm really feeling blessed. And it's a good time to just work on myself," she said.

Richard and Sarah have been together since 2012, with a relationship that developed from their team-up in the TV series Makapiling Kang Muli. They tied the knot in a heartfelt ceremony in March 2020, and are proud parents to their adorable kids Zion and Kai.
