Shaina Magdayao has recently spoken up about her relationship status—which, if you were wondering, is very much *single*.
In an interview, she talked more about her love life, or the lack thereof. Despite not being a stranger to society’s subliminal messaging that puts pressure on 30-something women to have their lives looking a certain way, she emphasizes that she puts no deadline on her personal plans, including marriage.
She opened up, “Ang tagal ko nang gusto, before sana mag-30, eh. Pero like what I said nga, lahat ng plano ko, hindi siya natutuloy. I guess marami pa akong unfinished tasks.”
“I actually thought na paglabas ko ng Ang Probinsyano, I would have a time. Sabi ko, ‘Medyo ready na ko.’ Kaso ito yung nangyayari,” she added, referring to the addition of her business ventures to her plate.
“Hindi naman siya naka-pause. It’s just that may mga kailangan lang akong gawin. We’ll get there.”
She also revealed her mindset on finding and staying with ~*The One*~ during her younger years, when her career was her utmost priority. “When I was younger, I said ayokong magkaroon ng distraction. I guess, if it’s the right person, that person won’t be a distraction but an inspiration for you being a better person sa lahat ng bagay, sa lahat ng aspect ng buhay.”
As for her present status, she tells the press, “Wala. Malalaman niyo rin naman. I have nothing to hide, and lahat ng nangyayari sa buhay ko naman nalalaman niyo. So time will come, sasabihin ko rin sa inyo, makukuwento ko rin sa inyo. But right now, wala pang certain person, like na iisang tao, wala, wala pa.”
Shaina graced headlines in October last year when her sweet photos with fellow Kapamilya star Piolo Pascual surfaced online, prompting talks of a brewing romance between them. In the past, she was in a relationship with fellow actors John Prats and John Lloyd Cruz.
