At 23, Alexa Ilacad already has a growing jewelry collection. The Gen Z star has been investing in timeless jewelry, and her first-ever purchase holds a special place in her heart—she bought herself a diamond ring as a symbol of ~*self-love*~.
"This is something I've always wanted," she shared during Manila Diamond Studio's store opening at the Shangri-La Plaza Mall. "It sort of looks like an engagement ring, noh?"
The jewelry piece, which she got from the fine jeweler, showcases a 0.64-carat solitaire with a band that's covered in diamonds.
According to Alexa, it felt like she was "marrying herself."
"I love rings," she added. "Out of my whole collection, pinaka-madami yung rings ko."
Fun fact: Fellow actress Jessy Mendiola actually inspired Alexa to start collecting jewelry.
"I started developing a love for jewelry because of her," she recalled. "I would always see her posts and gandang ganda talaga ako. The pieces she owns are just so stunning."

She added, "Investment pieces kasi yung jewelry so you have to make sure that you're happy with the 4Cs."
