Ever since I started working nearly six years ago, one of my main problems has always been finding the perfect work bag for me. You see, I'm a smol girl, so finding a work-appropriate bag has always been a struggle for me—either they drown my frame, or I find that the design and silhouette don't match my personality. (I'm a 25-year-old teenage girl, what can I say?)

That is until I discovered The Paper Bunny (TPB), a Singaporean lifestyle brand that curates well-thought-out pieces like bags, stationery, clothing, and more. One of the bags they offer is the Midi Arc, and spoiler alert, but it's literally the perfect bag for me—I haven't used any other bag ever since I got it. If you've been thinking of copping one for yourself, let me convince you to hit the checkout button real quick. Keep on reading to learn more about it:

What is The Paper Bunny Midi Arc?

The Midi Arc is the middle child in the Arc series of The Paper Bunny. It's a roomy bag with an adjustable strap that lets you carry it as a crossbody or a shoulder bag. It has a slouchy hobo silhouette with an asymmetrical shape that lends it a chic unconventional look. It also features multiple pockets on the interior and exterior so you can store all your essentials wherever you go.

Its classic version is crafted with water-resistant nylon material, while the Rich version is made with buttery-soft vegan leather for a more shiny, luxurious finish.

How much is The Paper Bunny Midi Arc and where can I buy it?

The classic version of the Midi Arc costs P3,850, while the Rich version costs P4,750. You can purchase the bag on The Paper Bunny's PH website—yup, no need to ask your friends vacationing in Singapore to pasabuy for you!

P.S. There's free local shipping for orders above P3,000 on the site, so yay for more savings! *wink*

My honest review of The Paper Bunny Midi Arc

The Midi Arc, which was released in mid-2024, has been around for a few months and I've successfully managed to not get budol-ed every time I see TPB posts on my feed. That is, until they announced a new colorway last December—they were releasing it in Dark Cherry, a hue that I gravitate towards a lot (aside from my usual dark neutral color palette). It was immediately sold out on the site, but I lucked out when I checked back a few weeks later and saw that it was miraculously in stock.

I received the bag within two days of placing my order (since TPB has a local warehouse here, bless them), and I've been using it nonstop since then. Here are the top reasons why I love it:

It's spacious AF.

One of my non-negotiables for a work bag is that it has to be roomy. I'm the type of person who always carries a lot of stuff in their bag, so I need all the space I can have. Here are the contents of my Midi Arc at any given workday:

  • 13-inch MacBook Air (yup, it can fit my laptop without changing the silhouette of the bag!)
  • B6-sized planner
  • Pen case
  • Makeup and grooming pouch
  • Tech pouch
  • Wallet and coin purse
  • Digital camera
  • Hair clamp
  • AirPods
  • Keys (the bag has a snap loop on the exterior pocket so I never lose my keys)
  • Automatic 11-inch umbrella

Ofc, as a beauty girlie, I can never leave the house without my makeup pouch. After my laptop, my makeup kit takes up the most space in my bag, LOL! Despite that, my bag remains roomy enough to store my other essentials.

The bag also fits my big makeup pouch (which has an embarrassing amount of products inside it, lol!). Cheska Santiago

It's smol girl-approved.

Standing at five feet flat, I'm a certified smol girl. *cries* Big totes drown my frame, while backpacks make me look like a grade schooler. The Midi Arc, however, is small enough that it doesn't totally engulf me while still being roomy so that I can store all my daily essentials.

If you're torn between the regular-sized Arc or the Midi Arc and you're the same height as me, I would recommend the latter.

It provides a pop of color to my outfits.

As all of my Cosmo teammates can attest, my daily work "uniform" usually consists of dark colors like black or gray. However, I'm not one to shy away from a pop of color, and the Dark Cherry hue of the bag really brings it!

I mostly wear a lot of black, so I'm happy with the pop of color the Midi Arc provides—albeit in another dark color, but anyway! Cheska Santiago

Is The Paper Bunny Midi Arc worth the hype?

Yes, 10/10, no notes! If you have the money to spare and treat yourself, I'd definitely recommend buying the Midi Arc. Not only does it look chic AF (especially if you're getting it in the Rich version), but it also gives you a lot of room to carry your essentials. Aside from that, there are also a lot of things you can store on the exterior and interior pockets of the bag. Plus, with its adjustable strap, you can carry it as a tote or a crossbody bag—you're basically getting two bags for the price of one. #girlmath
