Doja Cat has taken us on a true sartorial journey at the 2024 Met Gala this evening. First, she showed up at her hotel wearing what can only be described as a plastic bag, paired with some nude shapewear and nipple pasties.
Doja then left her hotel on the way to the Met Gala wearing nothing but a towel and some diamonds (because obviously). She paired the look with drippy straight-out-of-the-shower-inspired eye makeup and plastic heels.
But while this ^ is the outfit Doja arrived at the Met Gala in, she once again changed before hitting the red carpet—this time wearing a supersized wet T-shirt.
As a reminder, Doja Cat dressed up as a literal cat during last year’s Met Gala, so our expectations were obviously higher than high. Happy to say she exceeded them and then some! And obviously, it goes without saying that we all need to stay tuned for what she changes into for the Met Gala after-party. I’m going to assume/hope for some variation of pajamas?
