H&M just revealed its newest designer collaboration, and it's with none other than Spanish fashion house Rabanne!
H&M Announces New Designer Collaboration with Rabanne
The fashion industry is buzzing with excitement as the highly anticipated collaboration between high street fashion retailer and the iconic fashion house is announced. This groundbreaking partnership aims to bring Rabanne's avant-garde energy to a wider audience, spotlighting the maison's iconic metallic ensembles and 1960s flair.
“Rabanne’s metallic dresses are instantly recognizable pieces of fashion history. We’re thrilled to bring a dazzling array of Rabanne designs to our customers with this sensational collaboration,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, head of design womenswear and creative advisor at H&M.
Creative Director Julien Dossena, the mastermind behind Rabanne's visionary concepts, also expressed his excitement about the collaboration. "As a designer, I’ve always been interested in exploring hedonism and empowerment. I was very enthusiastic to work with H&M on a collection that will introduce Rabanne’s avant-garde energy to a wider audience in a democratic way," he says, also describing the collection as "hedonistic, fun, light, effortless, and timeless."
In addition to pushing the boundaries of fashion, this collaboration also puts a strong focus on craftsmanship and sustainability. H&M Creative Advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson emphasized the significance of producing high-quality and sustainable garments. Each piece within the collection is meticulously crafted, ensuring longevity and versatility.
The collaboration was recently unveiled during a glamorous party at the nightclub Silencio, held during Paris Fashion Week. The event was attended by A-list celebrities and fashion enthusiasts, including Jared Leto, Damson Idris, Irina Shayk, Elle Fanning, and the Philippines' very own James Reid and Issa Pressman—all clad in pieces from the collection.
The collaboration was recently unveiled during a glamorous party at the nightclub Silencio, held during Paris Fashion Week. The event was attended by A-list celebrities and fashion enthusiasts, including Jared Leto, Damson Idris, Irina Shayk, and Elle Fanning.
Representing the Philippines at the stylish affair were James Reid and Issa Pressman, who showed up at the party donning coordinating looks.

Debuting his refreshed black 'do, James wore a leopard-print top layered under a wool trench-coat with matching trousers and Chelsea boots. The red accents on his look capped things off on an edgy note.
Meanwhile, Issa seems to have went for the inverse of his look, rocking the animal print as stockings slipped into black heels. Teamed with it was a black bodysuit and a blinged-up clutch.

The Rabanne x H&M collection will be available in select stores and online this coming November 9, 2023.
