Her reign has *officially* come to an end. On May 22, 2024, Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee took her final walk and crowned her successor, Chelsea Manalo of Bulacan, at the Mall of Asia Arena. The 24-year-old will be representing the Philippines at the 73rd Miss Universe pageant in Mexico in the hopes of winning our country's fifth crown.

Michelle Dee's Gown During Her Final Walk
For her final walk as Miss Universe Philippines, Michelle made everyone nostalgic as she donned the Apo Whang-Od-inspired creation she wore at the Miss Universe 2023. However, instead of having slicked-back hair like in last year's competition, she chose to have her bob hair styled in loose tousled waves.

As part of her farewell walk, Michelle thanked everyone who helped her along the way. "Thank you for seeing the potential in me, and for rallying behind me when it mattered the most," she noted.
Michelle Dee's Gown as She Crowned Her Successor
As she crowned her new successor, Michelle was a sight to behold in a Mark Bumgarner creation, a white strapless ballgown with rattan weaves and tasteful cutouts on the sides that showcased her physique. The frock also had a thigh-high slit that showed off the beauty queen's long legs. For her accessories, Michelle kept things simple by only wearing an intricate diamond-encrusted flower necklace.
