Great queens think alike! A crown isn’t the only commonality between pageant titleholders Pia Wurtzbach and Michelle Dee , as the two displayed the same taste for a sultry black number by the celebrated Filipino designer Francis Libiran.

In October 2022, the Miss Universe 2015 titleholder sauntered on the runway as a show-stopping cap-off for Francis Libiran’s S/S 2023 collection, showcased during a Diagold event.
Styled by her go-to fashion confidante Perry Tabora, Pia was catwalk-ready swathed in the column gown, which featured intricate cut-outs embracing her waist. With a voluminous high bun and shimmering dangling jewels from Diagold, the star channeled old-school glamour at its finest.
Meanwhile, the newly-minted Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee was her own sultry vision in the same gown, as handpicked by stylist Kenneth Ramil.
The new Filipina bet for the upcoming pageant radiated a potent mix of edge and classic allure in a sleek straight bob. To accentuate it further, Michelle’s neck was accessorized in a golden-hued South Sea pearl from Jewelmer.
