Wedding bells are ringing for Sandara Park’s brother, Thunder! The K-pop idol and former member of MBLAQ is set to tie the knot with singer Mimi, but before walking down the aisle, the couple and their family members went in front of the camera for a special wedding shoot. In attendance was Sandara herself, who looked bright in blue as a bridesmaid!

On October 31, the happy couple shared a series of behind-the-scenes snaps from the photoshoot for their upcoming nuptials.
“We had our wedding photoshoot yesterday! Mimi looked so beautiful in her dress that I couldn’t focus on the shoot because I was busy looking at her,” Thunder, whose real name is Park Sang Hyun, captioned his Instagram post as translated by Soompi. “It was a happy day! Thanks to everyone who congratulated us.”
Photographed together with Mimi and Thunder were the groom’s sisters, Park Durami and Sandara, who shared heartfelt messages of their own. “Seeing my youngest brother, I realized what it looks like when a man falls in love. I’m so happy by just watching you!” Sandara wrote. “Love Mimi lots and lots in the future too and I pray that you both build a happy family. I’m so proud of you, my little brother!”
For the shoot, Sandara was clothed in a voluminous tulle gown by Lebanese fashion designer Georges Hobeika. Straight from the couturier’s ready-to-wear Spring 2022 collection, the showcase flaunted opulent and fairytale-inspired aesthetics with grand feminine silhouettes, which also manifested in Sandara’s chosen piece.
The strapless tulle gown in particular comes in a radiant aqua foam color, made all the more fantastical with its tiered form and ruffles detailing each layer. On luxury designer boutiques, the true-blue piece retails for $10,744–that’s about P608,867.
