One look at Dior's pointy toe J'adior pumps, and you know you have something IG-worthy in your hands (or on your screens). One half of it is purely traditional and fuss-free—while the other is point-and-shoot bait for the millennials of the world.

Presented by creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri for her debut Spring/Summer 2017 collection, the heels feature a length of ribbon fashioned as a slingback strap, on which the words "J'ADIOR" are emblazoned.

On Instagram, Chiuri describes the shoes as a "mix [of] the Dior heritage with today's pop culture." The message comes across loud and clear: In nude or black, this style of heel is often considered a wardrobe staple, something to be worn for years to come. That is, until you notice the printed strap and are reminded of its 21st century social media-savvy roots.
