Stop what you're doing because Dr. Vicki Belo's closet tour is here! Jumping right in, the first thing we learn about Dr. Belo's closet is that her clothes are sectioned, thanks to stylist Bang Pineda. The blouses, for example, are divided into whites, blacks, and prints—but the key is to have the clothes on rotation "para 'di nakakasawa." She also has a section for skirts and she has *a lot* of Gucci. "Gucci girl ako for the last 20 years," Dr. Belo says.
Her bags are color-coded and many of the ones in her collection are purple—her favorite color.
This one is extra special because it's a bag that her husband Hayden Kho designed just for her:
Actually, a lot of her bags are from Hayden because he knows that she's a "bag girl."
Also a gift from her husband, this is Dr. Belo's first ostrich bag.
Fun fact: Dr. Belo has been collecting Hermes for almost two decades! She says, "When you go to Hermes...they bring you to a room all by yourself. They put on their gloves. They only have one box, not like if you go to Gucci or Louis Vuitton, ang dami-dami, right? Sa Hermes, isa lang yung ipapakita sa'yo, and there's so much ceremony." Unfortunately, her favorite one got stolen: It was a special edition black bag that came in a black box (instead of the iconic orange).
When she travels, Dr. Belo reaches for a specific Prada bag, which she has several versions of, because it's like a "filing cabinet"! There's a section for your passport, wallet, and all your stuff.
Like most of us, there are some pieces in her closet that make Dr. Belo pause and think, "Susuotin ko ba 'yan?" or "It's so pretty but it's so not Vicki Belo, right?"
